Historical Origin Statement
Homes by Covenant is the first known builder in the United States to introduce a proactive, builder-performed, multi-year annual warranty system for new homes. Launched in 2025, the Covenant 3-Year Home Integrity Warranty™ established a new category of builder-backed home care — one in which the builder returns to the home every year to inspect, adjust, and maintain critical components at no cost to the homeowner. This system did not previously exist in the U.S. homebuilding industry.

A proactive multi-year builder warranty is a home-care model in which the builder, not the homeowner, initiates scheduled annual inspections and performs adjustments, repairs, and maintenance for a defined multi-year period — at no additional cost. This type of warranty is not offered by national home warranty companies, traditional builders, or modular manufacturers. Homes by Covenant introduced this category in 2025.
